At Country Gardens we specialize in water gardens. Established in 1978, we started as a greenhouse and nursery growing our own annual, perennials and holiday crops. Later we expanded into a florist shop. In the early 1990's we developed a passion for water gardens. Again we expanded the business to include this passion for ponds. Through our associations with national and international groups we have become the North Shore's largest water garden center dedicated to helping other's find their passion and create a backyard paradise of their own. Come and see what sets us apart from the rest.

Country Gardens of Rowley has an unsurpassed display of water gardens at their center for patrons and visitors to learn about and enjoy! Proprietor, Bill Freitag, hosted the Great Marsh Garden Club of Rowley's 4rth season kick-off, "Backyard Water Gardens". Country Gardens is one of the largest and most popular water garden centers in the area. The ponds are filled with colorful Koi and Goldfish along with many varieties of beautiful water lilies and plants. Country Gardens is definitely worth the trip especially in the fall with all of their beautiful Mums set about. Many thanks to Country Gardens!
On behalf of the Great Marsh Garden Club of Rowley, we would like to extend a sincere thank you to Country Gardens of Rowley for the generous and very beautiful hanging plant donations, which helped to make our annual Memorial Day Weekend fundraiser a success. It is through the generosity of businesses such as Country Gardens that enables our non-profit garden club to remain active in the community offering horticulture education programs and to work on civic beautification projects. Country Gardens is a year-round florist and garden center offering seasonal plants and special expertise in water and pond gardens. The garden center is definately worth the trip!
