      Minnesota Epilepsy Group operates under United Hospital and Children's Hospitals and Clinics. Located in St. Paul, Minn., the hospital specializes in evaluation, treatment, consultation and support services for adults, teens and children with seizure disorders. Minnesota Epilepsy Group offers care for individuals with various ailments, such as unconfirmed diagnosis, impaired abilities and disrupted day-to-day living. Its acute care facility offers more than 500 licensed beds and a medical staff of over 1,000 physicians. The hospital s pediatric epilepsy inpatient facility includes a lounge area for socializing and watching television, a special playroom for younger children, a refrigerator, and a microwave. It staff also includes a child life epilepsy specialist who provide various consultation and support programs.
