General Info
When you hire an attorney to represent you on your Social Security case, ask them these three questions: 1. Will I meet with you in your office to prepare for me hearing (not fifteen minutes before my hearing at the Federal Building)? 2. Will you prepare a hearing brief, summarizing my treatment and explaining why I am disabled? 3. How long have you been practising law? Glen Cook commits to doing all these things. An AV rated attorney, he prepares for his clients' hearings by meeting with them and by preparing a pre-hearing brief. He has been practising law some 30 years, and is qualified to appear before the United States Supreme Court. A former Social Security attorney, he actuall wrote the Administrative Law Judge decisions, and served as a military judge himself. Your intitial consultation is free. You do not pay one dime unless you receive benefits. We put that in writing and file it in your Social Security file.
