It’s no fun being locked out of your car, especially after darkness had fallen. I had absolutely no one to turn to for help as I was new to Salt Lake City, UT. Once I called Salt Lake City Lock & Locksmith up, I didnt wait for long. Eric got there in less than fifteen minutes. My car trunk was jammed shut and all my luggage was loaded up in it. I had a flight to catch in about an hour and it was a question of opening the trunk or missing my flight. Salt Lake City Lock & Locksmith did not let the latter happen. Services didnt come off as expensive as some of the other locksmiths in Salt Lake City, UT. In fact, I only paid up half of what others would have charged me for a lock and handleset installation. Smith was extremely polite, and clearly explained the various options before I made my pick. Turning my key upon returning home, the cylinder surrounding the key popped out. Pins went flying everywhere. My jaw dropped--locks aren't supposed to just break! But within five minutes, I'd regained my composure well enough to do a quick search online. Our locksmith was out at the time, but he set an appointment for a few hours later and even showed up a few minutes early. He was visibly competent and worked fast, all while keeping up a friendly conversation and explaining what he was doing. Even though it turned out we needed to replace the whole lock, the total price was still well within reach. He even accepted our credit card via an app on his iPhone. We needed a deadbolt installed from scratch on a hollow metal door and metal frame and after looking around with no luck to have someone install the thing, Dave was all "no problem" and quoted a very fair price, So we go with Salt Lake City Lock & Locksmith.He banged it out in no time at all and was such a sweet guy (and a cutie) that I was a little bummed he was done so quickly. We have a dog who is kind of a pest (read: a really mouthy little pest...lol) and most strangers who come by to do work in our house find him at least mildly annoying (with good reason.) But not Dave. He was absolutely darling to him and took out his phone to show me a pic of his own super adorable furry bundle of joy. Can't recommend Dave highly enough for all your lock needs.
