Cyndi Taylor Krier Juvenile Correctional Treatment Center, owned by the Bexar County Juvenile Probation Department, is a long-term, residential, 90-plus-bed facility that specializes in therapeutic intervention and rehabilitative services. The center offers several educational programs through the East Central Independent School District s Bexar County Learning Center and medical, dental and mental health services through Detention Health Care Services: University Health System Detention Health Care Services. The medical section at the center has a dental laboratory and physical examination and suicide prevention observation rooms. The Bexar County Juvenile Probation Department is a fundamental part of the Juvenile Justice System, which is owned by the government of Bexar County in Texas.
