I live in Austin and wanted to find a local day spa for a surpise gift for my mother to enjoy a relaxing day. I found this ad on yellowpages.com and selected a few others. I decided to go with this salon based on the look of the salon on the website hoping that I made the right choice as I was about to spend some major $$ at this salon. The service at Folawn's was impeccable as every member of the staff ensured we were well taken care from the drinks we got to our comfort level in every service they provided us. I highly recommend this salon if you want to be pampered to the fullest!

I paid $200 for a haircut (they put hair products at the checkout that I didn't really want and made me feel like I was supposed to buy them). My hair is so dry and so awful looking that my husband keeps asking me "when I'm going to comb my hair." I have never had such a bad cut, plus they gave me such a horrible perm that it's so dry I'm afraid it's going to start falling off. Now I have to look for another beauty parlor to try to undo this horrible cut. They also talked me into streaking it which I didn't want and makes me look older.

I LOVE THIS PLACE, IT IS VERY CLEAN AND NICELY DECORATED. THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND THE SERVICE IS GREAT! THE MAKE-UP THEY SELL IS NOT EXPENSIVE AND IT IS ALL NATURAL (AVEDO PRODUCTS). I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS.
