Stephen McCune Upholstery is the oldest continuously operated upholstery shop in Texas. In 1923, Mr. McCune started a small shop that moved in the early 30s to a strip of land between the San Antonio River and an acequia that fed the Alamo. Today, the shop is well known for its quality furniture, durable fabrics, and excellent craftsmanship. If you've visited some of the finer homes around San Antonio, Corpus Christi, or the Hill Country, there is a good chance you've seen some of Stephen McCune Upholstery's work.
