- DenturesIn the event a patient does not quality for dental implant placement, bone grafting is an alternative. We offer major and minor bone grafting to repair jaw defects, as well as various other procedures such as a sinus lift or ridge expansion. Bone grafting may be done after teeth removal, dental implants, or may simply be necessary if you have lost teeth and your jaw condition is not in optimal shape (which often contributes to the appearance of premature aging.) This procedure helps us to preserve the shape and strength of your jawbone and can also increase the possibility of your having an implant or denture placement in the future. In addition to that, bone grafting will prevent your mouth from shrinking over time.

- Maxillofacial SurgeryOral and maxillofacial surgery (OMS) is a branch of surgery specializing in treating and diagnosing injuries and diseases located in hard and soft tissues of the oral (mouth) and maxillofacial (jaws and face) regions. This form of surgery requires as much as 6 additional years of both hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training, after graduating from dental school. Our OMS surgeons are trained in both medicine and dentistry, so they can expertly treat many oral issues, such as impacted teeth and facial trauma, as well as different benign pathologies. This includes techniques that can help rebuild bone structure with as little surgical intervention as necessary, all while providing maximum patient comfort. Working alongside our Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. James R. Eckstein, Dr. Brian K. Oleksy, Dr. Derek J. Havas and Dr. Justin R. Messina, is a team fully trained in assisting with IV sedation and outpatient general anesthesia. Of course, this all takes place in our modern, state-of-the-art facilities, where patients are monitored during and after all surgical procedures.
- Tooth ExtractionsIf patients suffer from impacted teeth, we can perform wisdom teeth removal, a procedure that takes under one hour. A very common procedure, wisdom teeth must often be removed once they emerge and are retained. Without removing them, you may suffer from tooth decay, gum disease, and orofacial pain. If you have a wisdom tooth extraction, we will remove all parts of your wisdom teeth, including the roots. Once they have been removed, you will suffer from less oral and facial discomfort, have a decreased risk of oral disease, and have fewer headaches (if you were suffering from them when your wisdom teeth started to emerge.)
