Health Savings Associates really impressed me. I grew up here in San Diego, moved to Hawaii and have now moved back. I was thankful that a friend referred me to Health Savings because after living in a place where health insurance isn't an *issue* I didn't know where to start. The broker I spoke with was very honest. She explained to me the pros and cons of group and individual insurance (we have a small business with no employees) and we finally decided to apply for insurance individually, because we're healthy and it would be much less costly. Her honesty really put me at ease and let me know that she was focused on my well-being, not my wallet.

My broker ran multiple quotes which she emailed me, and even came to our house to go over all of our options and thoroughly explained each plan: why one plan would cost more than the other, the difference between a deductible and an out of pocket maximum- the whole 9 yards. She even did a quick *exposure analysis* for us to help us make a final decision. After about 2 hours of learning how my insurance works (interesting stuff, to me at least), I was confident in my decision and happy with the coverage I was purchasing for myself and my family. My broker even helped me realize that I didn't need insurance so immediately, because (I had no idea) my former emloyer's benefits wouldnt end until the end of this month.
