Vinh Phat is, perhaps, the finest mechanic in San Diego and definitely one of the best in the country. Don't let his modest shop fool you.



I would honestly give him the following ratings: Diagnostics *****, Honesty*****, Price ***** Passion***** Heart***** (He's one of the few mechanics you can be confident paying whatever he asks.) There are not too many true Master Mechanics left in the U.S., but Mr. Phat is one -- and a true gentleman to boot. (I've really only met one other mechanic with this kind of passion for cars and customers - that was European Precision in Dallas, TX.



If you go to him, you will not be disappointed. This review is by a customer who has had US, Japanese and British cars fixed perfectly by Mr. Phat. In fact he fixed problems that literally 5 other mechanics flubbed -- Including the dealer in the case of our American car! (We've lived in over 5 cities and have had perhaps 30+ car repairs.)
