The Providence Foundation of San Francisco is a nonprofit, charitable wing of the Providence Baptist Church. It offers a variety of support services for children, families and senior citizens. The foundation was established by members of the church congregation in 1996 to address the concerns of low-income residents. It offers education, training, housing, food and welfare services. The foundation s programs include homeless shelter, managed care, senior housing project and summer day camp. The Providence Foundation of San Francisco also publishes a monthly newsletter. The foundation is located in San Francisco.
