General Info

Teaching skills, credentials, and knowledge are important in helping children learn, but rapport, genuine caring, committment, respect and integrity are equally important. Every student and family I work with gets 100 percent of my expertise, determination and desire to make a difference. I believe in looking at the "big picture" for a child, as learning issues may be complicated by many factors. I assist families in answering questions and looking for solutions to their concerns about their child. I like to work as part of a team - parents, teachers, counselors, eduscational therapist - to help the student. My goal is for the work I do with students to transfer to success and happiness in school and in life. I believe that if every decision I make is done in the student's best interest, then it will be in mine too. I have found this to be a rewarding andnsatisfying way to conduct business over many years, both as Director of The Learning Center and instructor at Dominican College and in private practice.

The Learning Center is located in a home office between the Marin Civic Center and China Camp State Park in Santa Venetia. It's about five minutes from the 101 freeway.
