Provided by DexKnowsFree admission (donations welcome but not obtrusively requested), a shape that echoes a traditional Navajo hogan -- one large room, with movable panels in the center to expand the display space. Usually one show at a time, and every piece is treated equally, and deserves equal attention. Downstairs (elevator available) is a replica of an old trading post, but with a great collection of jewelry and art by native Americans. Since it's non-profit you know the money is going both to the museum and to the artists. Don't expect bargain prices -- they're fairly priced, it's just that more of the retail price goes to the artist.
so boring. basically, it's a bunch of jewelry. seriously. skip this place.
