      About The Practice Sarasota Vascular Specialists is the largest vascular surgery practice in the tri-county area. With an office in Sarasota, Florida, the team of board-certified surgeons treats patients with a range of disorders affecting the vascular system. The team provides complete care for many vascular disorders, including peripheral artery disease (PAD), aortic aneurysms, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), varicose veins, and venous insufficiency. Sarasota Vascular Specialists offers vascular surgery, including bypass surgery, to improve circulation and placement of dialysis access ports. The team also provides cosmetic vein treatments, including sclerotherapy, endovenous ablation, and Medtronic’s VenaSeal™ system. Sarasota Vascular Specialists has an onsite vascular lab certified by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). Seven registered vascular technicians staff the lab. They can perform vascular ultrasounds to diagnose the underlying causes of common vein and artery disease symptoms, like leg pain, leg cramping, and leg swelling. The practice has a state-registered surgery and angiogram suite, allowing their surgical team to use low-profile wires and catheters during endovascular procedures.
