Thank you for your detailed explanation of what is going on with my vision today. I really appreciate it and have found relief in the medical reasoning of why Ive been experiencing difficulty driving at night and why Ive needed to take more breaks from writing my evaluations. Her humble demeanor and ability to relay complicated information made the evaluation process a pleasure.

Dear Dr. Slotnick, I know it's a Saturday, but I just wanted to let you know that Julia actually picked up a book yesterday and read it throughout the afternoon and evening. While she didn't seem to think it was such a "big deal" I was very struck by the fact that she was actually enjoying reading. I can count on my fingers the number of times Julia has done this recently. Working with you is truly fascinating and I hope that what I observed with Julia yesterday is just the beginning of a paradigm shift! My daughter attends vision therapy weekly. Everyone is always very pleasant and welcoming to my daughter and me. It is a professional and comfortable atmosphere. Erin has thrived over the last few months and I have seen a tremendous improvement in her organization in her daily life i.e. getting ready for school. In addition, Erin is doing her homework independently as opposed to last year when I would have to sit with her until all her homework was completed. She has become more confident and easy going in the last few months!
