Welcome to The DogSpa of Seattle, where we consider the care of your best friend our number-one priority. We've provided full-service grooming services for the pets of the Seattle area for many years and have added several spa treatments. Our motto is "Personalized care for your pampered pet". We use natural products, products formulated for show dogs and pet safe color treatments. Our extensive line of products is used to customize every dog's spa experience. Safe handling techniques are used to make the grooming process as comfortable as possible. The grooming team attends continuing education seminars every year. Tami Vornbrock, the salon owner and Certified Master Groomer, competes in grooming competitions. She has won several 1st in Poodle and Terrier classes and even a Best in Show! I brought my pomerainan, Juliette in to be groomed for the first time. When Tami had her on the table she alerted me that her entire backside was raw. I took to vet the next day, results of her bloodwork indicated her liver count was 551 (57 is normal). Tami recommended diet change and referred me to Natural Pet Pantry who referred me to Laney Piore, an animal nutrionist. We put Juliette on 100% organic diet, as a result her next labs showed liver count down to 149, and a month later were normal. Her skin condition did not improve so after seeing another vet, I spoke to Tami about referral to vet with a natural/holistic approch and she referred my to Dr. Iaia. The skin biopsy showed she has rare form of cancer (Cutaneous Epithelia Tropic Lymphosarcoma).If it wasn't for the knowledge of Tami, Juliette would not be with me and would have suffered. Currently, she is very happy, full of joy and her disease is being managed. THANK YOU TAMI!! Important to see groomer regularly!!!
I recently moved here and was nervous about bringing my dog to a new groomer. My dog is really shy and it took her awhile to get comfortable with our old groomer. My neighbor reccommended this place and so I felt ok with trying it. The groomers were professional and took the time Sadie needed to get used to them before they took her back to get her bath. When I got her back she looked fabulous and smelled like a million bucks! Thanks ladies for doing a great job with my baby.
I have been going to Tammy and the The Dog Spa of Seattle for over 4 years now and absolutely am more than please with her work. Our dogs have never looked better and she is very reasonable price wise too.
I have three dogs and was trying to wash them myself. One of my dogs is afraid of everything and I didn't think he would do well with anyone else. When I hurt my back I had no choice but to bring them and I was just thrilled with the care my dogs received. The staff is kind, professional, and compassionate with the dogs. When I picked them up they were happy and well groomed. I will NEVER go back to bathingthem myself.
My daughter and I both take our Pomeranians for grooming to the Dog Spa. They always look great, and act like they were well treated and well cared for. I feel very good about taking my dog there.
