- VeneersToday there is an increasing demand for pleasing aesthetics. This is not only in regard to the finished product from an aesthetic procedure (plastic surgery, orthodontics, aesthetic dentistry), but is often preferred while the procedure itself is being performed. Thus in the field of orthodontics aesthetic appliances have become in demand. The forms of those aesthetic appliances are as followed; Invisalign, porcelain or clear brackets, veneers or crowns, and lingual braces.
- Crowns
- DenturesClean before and after placement in the mouth. Because the material used for fabrication is slightly porous, plaque tends to cling to the surfaces. Gentle scrubbing with a toothbrush and a mild liquid soap will remove the plaque. A denture cleaning solution, such as Efferdent, will aid in the removal of plaque and tartar. Be sure to rinse the retainers thoroughly after cleaning to remove any cleanser residue.

- Jaw SurgeryA classically beautiful smile can improve your life socially, psychologically, and functionally, but at such an advanced stage orthodontically, adults can only hope to achieve growth and bone development through orthognathic surgery. Many adults can receive orthodontic treatments without the worry of bone growth or development and still achieve beautiful results, but severe malocclusion, such as an overbite or crossbite, may provide an added concern during orthodontic treatments. In addition to less bone development, adults heal more slowly, and their teeth shift at a slower rate. PROPEL® Orthodontics can help with all of these factors while on your journey to achieve a perfect smile.
- Tooth ExtractionsIf early treatment is indicated, Nentwich can guide the growth of the jaw and incoming permanent teeth. Early treatment can also regulate the width of the upper and lower dental arches, gain space for permanent teeth, avoid the need for permanent tooth extractions, reduce the likelihood of impacted permanent teeth, correct thumb sucking, and eliminate abnormal swallowing or speech problems. In other words, early treatment can simplify later treatment, after all the permanent teeth erupt.
