Founded in 1964, John F. Kennedy High School serves more than 1,000 students in grades 9 through 12. The school offers classes in agricultural science, business studies, foreign languages, math, music, physical education, science and social studies. It employs administrators, paraprofessionals, counselors, bookkeepers and staff members. John F. Kennedy High School provides several athletic programs, such as football, soccer, cross-country, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, swimming, baseball and softball. The school operates a guidance department that provides scholarships, financial aid and career exploration programs. It offers a range of project-based activities that assists to develop leadership and teamwork skills. John F. Kennedy High School is located in Silver Spring, Md.
