      Hexcel Corporation is an advanced structural materials company. The company develops, manufactures and markets lightweight reinforcement products, composite materials and composite structures for use in commercial aerospace, space and defense, electronics and industrial applications. Its fibres, fabrics, resins, prepregs, honeycombs and adhesives are used in the aerospace industry. Regional jets, helicopters, aircraft engines and satellites are also major users of its materials. The company is one of the largest United States producers of carbon fibre and weavers of structural fabrics. It is also a major supplier of composite materials. Hexcel Corporation has headquarters in Stamford Conn., and manufacturing facilities in the United States, Europe and the Asia Pacific region. Its manufacturing plants include BHA Aero Composite Parts in Tianjin, China and Asian Composites Manufacturing in Bukit Kayu Hitam, Malaysia. The company also has sales offices in Melbourne, Australia; Tokyo; Shanghai, China; Melaka, Malaysia; Bangalore, India; and Seoul, Korea.
