Established in 1967, Centre County Youth Service Bureau provides various community- and family-based and residential programs to children, youth and families. Its services include individual, family and group counseling, parent education, big brother and sister programs, emergency shelter for runaway and homeless youth, transitional living, and drug and alcohol education and intervention programs. Its programs include stepping stone, stormbreak youth program, parenting plus, outreach, zerby gap familyworks and family solutions. It also offers family group decision making, a child-centered, family-focused planning meeting that assists families in making informed decisions about caring for their children, and provides safe and nurturing environments for them to live in. Centre County Youth Service Bureau is located in State College, Pa.
