      Located in Stilwell, Kan., Meyers Turf is a part of the Meyers Companies. It provides turf grass to the Kansas City area wholesale market. Its Kentucky Bluegrass is used in low- to medium-traffic areas, lawns, pastures, turf and athletic fields. Its fine stem fescue and K-31 fescue grasses are used for general purpose turf and erosion control. Its Meyers Z-52 Zoysia tough leaves and stems grow slowly and form a uniform, low-growing turf for home lawns and golf courses. Its Buffalograss is used on unirrigated lawns, parks, cemeteries and sports fields in warm and semiarid regions. It owns a fleet of trucks with truck-carried forklifts to deliver and spot pallets on the site. It also offers site preparation work and installation services. It supplies to various area retailers, including KMart, WalMart, Family Tree Nursery and all of the Grass Pad locations.
