My family and I had ordered a chicken parm dinner and meat lasagna along with garlic bread from La Vera Pizza Restaurant. I have to admit that the best part of the whole transaction was the friendly delivery man. The chicken was burnt, dry, tasteless (paper) along with the layer of cheese on it. The pasta under the chicken parm was soggy and the sauce resembles a tasteless version of chef Boyardee. The garlic bread also was soggy and not toasted. Upon ordering the meal, I had specifically stated that I wanted the pasta on the side. The meat lasagna was greasy and tasteless.
I called the restaurant immediately, after viewing the meal and tasting it. I had expressed my concern of these meals to the manager and explained my many years of experience in the restaurant business. He questioned the staff, while I was listening on the phone, if they had burned the chicken. They obviously stated that they didn't. He then stated to me that, out of his 20 years in business, I was the first to complain. He offered to send a new meal out, but I declined, because he had insenuated that I was fabricating what I was stating. He argued with me that it was impossible for the chicken to be burned and I replied that a restaurant should be consistent with their menu preparations.
I do not recommend the food at this restaurant for the poor quality and service.

Very good food and excellent service! The calzones and subs are great!

I had the Sicilian Pizza and it was awesome. The Greek salad was very fresh and tasteful.

I drive from North Bridgeport to get this yogurt. By far, the best sugar free dessert I have ever tasted!

Worth the trip!

While the yogurt is good, the place was dirty everytime I went. The floor is disgusting.
