In operation since 1957, Norwalk Powered Metals has been a provider of powered metal parts. Based in Bridge Port, Conn., it caters automotive, lawn and garden, locks and hardware, home appliances, industrial equipment, office equipment and power tools. Some of the products of the company include helical gears, spur gears, pole pieces, spacers, bearings, etc. The NPM's Engineering, Production and Quality Departments have the support of AutoCAD, CMM, CNC, SPC Analysis, optical measuring, strength testing and chemical analysis. Norwalk Powdered Metals is a member of MPIF (Metal Powder Industries federation) and it has certification from ISO 9001:2000.
