The Stationhouse used to be the Shell Station which was a staple in Stratford for almost 30 years. They ruined what was an amazing restaurant by changing it into the Stationhouse. The Shell Station had amazing seafood and chicken dishes, and was charming looking. The Stationhouse does not look charming anymore, it looks confused, like they don't know if it is a high end bar or a sports bar or a fine dining restaraunt. They have lounge music w/ a live guy singing at times, and blasting Billy Joel music at other times, w/ sports on the tv. The menu is completely confused, again don't know if it is a sushi bar, fine restaurant, chain restaraunt style place, or just a place to drink and get appetizers. The steak sandwich was not good. I don't know who they are trying to appeal to anymore, people just wanting a happy hour place? The once outstanding menu of the Shell Station is nowhere to be found. Please please please bring it back to the old menu and decor!
