Our capabilities include Lava ( Hydrous Aluminum Silicate/Pyrophyllite ) material that is machined and fired to customer specifications. We can also supply unfired rods, bars or plates for customers to machine. Machining and firing data sheets are available within this web sight. Some products currently manufactured include welding cups and nozzles, burner tips, bushings and spacers, insulators, seals for cartridge heaters and specialty items.Maryland Lava Company can assist at the design stage to ensure our customers take full advantage of ceramic material characteristics where shape and feature arrangement can affect end product performance and cost. MLC can provide cost effective solutions so that our customers can produce higher quality products.
