      The Takoma Park Recreation Department provides a variety of leisure activities and programs for individuals. The department s facilities include an auditorium, community and recreational centers, and teenager, art, dance and game rooms. Located in Takoma Park, Md., the department organizes several events that include Halloween festivals, parties, and music and dance competitions. It offers various sports activities, including football, basketball, tennis, hockey and soccer. The Takoma Park Recreation Department provides art and craft and after-school programs, as well as organizes day trips. In addition, the department operates ski and snowboard club. It also conducts photography, creative writing, painting and computer classes.
