Tallahassee Memorial Family Practice Residency Program provides additional medical training to physicians. It offers courses in pediatrics, orthopedics, urology, occupational health, gynecology, behavioral medicine, geriatrics, anesthesia and dermatology. It also specializes in various other procedures, such as colopscopy, vasectomy, cervical cryotherapy, thoracentesis and diaphragm fitting. Additionally, the program offers consultation on future employment contracts. Located in Tallahassee, Fla., the program is a part of Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, a 750-plus-bed facility. The hospital is approved by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and employs more than 500 physicians. It offers specialized services in phlebotomy and respiratory care disciplines.
