Do not call if you are on a time schedule. If u have to be somewhere at 7 you need to call them at 6. Very slow.

The pickup time was longer than I was originally told but the attentiveness of the driver made up for the tardiness. I was very impressed with the kindness of the driver. He was very kind and made sure to let me know when my daughter was safely home again. If all of their drivers are this nice then this is the place to call when you need a cab.

I'm a student at fsu and every time i call there so dam rude. Fsu card or not i will pay extra for better taxi services seems like they would like have repeat customer but never again just found New van service for me an friends..yellow cab over rated

We called a cab from the theater. Tallahassee Yellocab, 850-580-8080. The dispatcher told me it would take 5-15 minutes t get to us at Westcot. 30 minutes later, a yellowcab car pulls up to us. I stand up and step forward to get in, and it immediately pulls away, turns the corner and disappears. Five minutes later, we call Yellowcab back, and they tell us the driver said he picked us up already. This driver had my name and phone number, and was supposedly informed that we are blind, so it couldn't have been a mistake. It was deliberate, and I am going to make trouble for them in the morning as soon as someone with half a brain is at their office. We walked home. I am livid. I am so mad, my face is burning. If that does not define discrimination by a driver, I don't know what does.

I called on a Thursday evening to set up a ride to the airport early the next morning. The dispatched was very helpful and friendly. The cab arrived right on time and the driver was very friendly as well. He took the most efficient route and got me there at the time I was quoted and the price I was quoted. I would definitely recommend them!

This is Tallahassee's only TRUE taxi cab company at the moment. A thoroughly professional operation in all aspects of the business. Despite the claims of "the other guys" this company is the only one to have professional management, driver training, and you can be guaranteed that the taxi you are riding in is indeed insured. This is a no nonsense company.



If you are looking for taxi SERVICE these are the guys to call. If you are staying in a downtown hotel, unless you are in a huge rush, you'd be well off to wait for a Yellow Cab rather than jump in one of "the other guys" taxis. Those cabs are in front of the hotels because the general public of Tallahassee know better than to call them. If arriving at the Tallahassee Regional Airport you DO NOT have to take the first cab in line if it is not Yellow. Simply walk up to the cab of your choice and tell the driver you are ready to go. You always have the choice.



If you are looking to DRIVE a taxi this is the ONLY place to be if you want to be a true independent contractor and work for yourself and not the company. You must be a professional to survive here. You WILL NOT have to worry about being in a deck full of amateurs and pretenders jamming up the system, wreaking havoc and costing everyone money and time.

Came to Tally on business; Paul, my cab driver, arrived immediately and was quite friendly. Yes, the cab ride was expensive, but he followed the route Mapquest suggested. When I lived in ATL last year, I took cabs all the time. I think the rates are higher here. They were fast and friendly, so I can say I got a good value for my dollar.

Needed a cab to my hotel from Tallahassee Airport. Took a Yellow Cab, and it was good ride. Super hot out so the driver had the air on blast like I like it. Used my debit card and had no issues.

I was in Tallahassee on business last week. Had to take a cab 4 times during my stay. Yellow Cab really had it on the ball. 2 times I called they were at my office in less than 5 minutes! That is unheard of in Atlanta! I will be using them for sure next time I'm in town!

Do not use this service if you NEED to be somewhere ON TIME. They always come much later than the estimate they give you. On a few occasions they actually didn't come at all. They put you on a wait list, then when your name comes up the cab assigned to your area comes for you, but if someone flags that cab before it reaches your location the list automatically goes to the next name and no one ever comes for you (they wont call you either to tell you that you should stop waiting).

very surly drivers, expensive, smelly drivers, rarely on time....unimpressive

I was ripped off by on of the Yellow Cab drivers in Tallahassee. I called one of their cabs to take me home from work. When we reached my house the bill was $25, however the driver's credit card machine was not working properly and did not accept any of my credit cards. I asked the driver if he would accept a check and he said he did not accept checks, however he could take me to the nearest ATM. I said OK as I thought that he would not charge for the trip to the ATM and back to my house.



However the driver kept his meter on. By the time he drove to the ATM and back to my house., the bill was $40. I said that I should pay $25 as I was able to withdraw cash at the ATM machine. Therefore, his credit card was not working and the extra trip was his fault and hi problem. The driver refused to listen, said that I have to pay and if I had a problem with the amount, I could call the company in the morning and talk to a manager. I was so stupid to pay the whole $40!!!



I called Yellow Cab in the morning and complained to a manager and said that I wanted to be refunded for $15. He said that he would research what went on and would call me back. Several days later still haven’t heard back from him and I don’t think I will.

Do not use Yellow Cab if you can avoid it!

... I'd want at least 50 bucks to clean it up too.

My daughter and a friend called yellow cab, the soroity she belongs too, has a direct bill contract so no money is needed, my daughter got sick in the cab and the driver demanded in a very abusive and agressive tone fifty dollars in cash and stated they needed to clean up the cab, fearing for there safety they paid and clean the cab, calls to yellow cab have gone unanswered, I wonder how many STUDENTS have been shook down by this cab company, FSU STUDENTS BEWARE OF YELLOW CAB.
