Agency for Community Treatment Services, also known as ACTS, is a nonprofit corporation that offers treatment for adolescents and adults with mental health and substance abuse problems. It provides prevention, acute care, stabilization and support services for problems related to delinquency, criminal justice and economic self-sufficiency. The organization conducts the Accountability Respect Responsibility Integrity Self-Esteem program, which focuses on life skills development. Agency for Community Treatment Services also offers a range of recreational and cultural opportunities for children between the ages of 12 and 17. It operates the Juvenile Assessment Center, which provides case management services. Agency for Community Treatment Services additionally conducts a permanent housing program.
