I am currently living at Avalon Village Apts. I understand fully that this is low rent for the City of Tampa, but this does not mean that a tenant should be denied maint. work or be talked to in a manner which is demeaning. Often there are times when it may be necessary to wait for a big job, but never small incidental jobs. Many times there are circumstances when a person has to live in a less expensive home. It can be due to financial, divorce, loss of a spouse or S.O., displacement etc., but it should always be taken into account that everyone has a reason why they had to select this complex. In my opinion everyone should show respect and be respected.

I do see that this complex is trying to beautify the property and do away with drugs, crimes etc. This is great and so noted.

There is a Property Manager, Rental Clerk, Maint. Supervisor, maint. workers, and security employed here. Each should be assigned their own job description. Which in my opinion does not qualify the maint. supervisor to be able to tell a tenant that he can throw you out because you ask for a repair. Or tell your child that she should put her mother in a Nursing Home where she would be better taken care of.

It all comes down to having to give and take to get along. Meaning I pay my rent you fix what is wrong. It sort of goes along with the old saying the customer (tenant) is always right unless they are destroying the property.

At this time I would not advise anyone to take shelter at this complex.

THE PLACE IS A REAL DUMP

REALLY THINGS ARE FALLING APART AND THEY SHOULD PUT THIS WHOLE STINKING PLACE IN THE DUMP.
