General Info
Pat Woodall Fine Art Gallery and Southwest Framers is owned and operated by Pat and Carmen Woodall. Carmen is a conservation framer specializing in custom framing and Pat is the artist exhibited exclusively here making work in six media. Oils, Watercolor, Pastel, Acrylic, and Graphite are painting mediums and the art of printmaking in the form of Monotypes. A monotype is a painting of oil etching inks on a a plexiglas plate transferred to one sheet of paper using a printing press. The result is an original piece of artwork labeled 1 of 1. The viscosity or peeling of the paper from the plexiglas plate after pressing removes all the oil from the plate and leaves it on the finished paper print. These textures cannot be done with a paint brush and so graphic art in the form of Monotypes is a large part of Pats unique original artwork .Pat Woodall Fine Art Gallery and Southwest Framers is owned and operated by Pat and Carmen Woodall.
