On Monday I took in a length of suede-backed leather to be cut in sections, have the ends stitched and slots cut at 1/2" intervals. First they, without clarification from me while I was standing there, cut one of the sections in the wrong place, making it too short for my project. did a sample stitching while I was there and sewed it horribly crooked and blamed the leather. Told me it would take the week to punch the slots and come back Friday to pick it up, but call first. I live in Hemet so a trip to Temecula is a planned event. Friday rolls around, call when they open at 9am and am told it is not done yet and come in at 1pm. Showed up at 2pm to see my leather pieces sitting on the counter. When I pointed out my leather I was told to pick up at 1pm I was informed "Oh, I haven't done that yet." REALLY? a 1/2 hour-an hour job, since Monday? They told me over the phone it would be ready at 1pm. I was there and they hadn't even started it yet. So in his rush to get it done, the slots are crooked, not the same size and not evenly spaced. These pieces will still work for my project, but it sure won't look as clean as I had expected. VERY DISAPPOINTED and will NEVER go here again!i.e., A local favorite, or highly recommended because

Tim's Shoe Repair fixed my designer purse handle and put a new heel on my favorite shoes. In both cases, you couldn't even see where the repair had been done. As a bonus, they cleaned them, too! I won't go nynwhere lese ever again!

Highly recommend - I have been using this shop for quite a few years now and they always do quality work in a timely manner. They have a way with not only doing the repairs but making your shoes look beautiful.
