      This company lacks in integrity. They hire some security guards who lie and harass people and then even lie to the police, and then the owner/president will back them up. There's a lack of class and integrity in this operation. It's ironical they claim to be the good guys when the truth, the word of some of their security guards mean nothing and they are dishonest. I know this for a fact.

      COMPANY BACKGROUND American Sentry Security Systems, Inc was established in 1970. The company was formed by two law enforcement officers for the purpose of providing professional security services to Northeastern Kansas. One of the two founders, Thomas B. Deatrick, remains with the company today serving as the President of the corporation. Tom is a hands on manager not just a figure head. He is involved in all day-to-day operations including occasionally working accounts as a security guard. This allows Tom to keep on clients needs, provide an additional level of supervision, stay abreast of changes in the security field, and maintain the personal touch that professionalism demands. From American Sentry's inception, the founders implemented a business plan requiring the highest standards of professional service. To maintain these standards, American Sentry has settled for slow controlled growth at the expense of short-term profits. This level of professionalism has meant hiring only the right people, developing and implementing quality, in-depth training programs for both officers and supervisors, and only accepting accounts they were capable of serving without sacrificing their standards. By following this careful plan, American Sentry has become one of the largest security companies serving Northeastern Kansas. They do and have served many prestigious accounts including numerous Fortune 500 companies, federal, state, and local agencies, etc.. American Sentry's high level of professionalism has lead to a reputation envied by other security companies and by many local law enforcement agencies. No officer working for American Sentry has been arrested for any crime, ( except minor traffic offenses ). This is a statement that few other security companies in the Northeast Kansas area can truthfully make. The absence of lawsuits against the company, its corporate officers, or its security officers, is very unusual within the security industry, and is due to American Sentry maintaining the highest levels of professionalism.
