Normally a great place to shop, with super service. I've been going there for years, Tonight, I was very disappointed. The shop was empty, except for another individual and the clerk. I stood at the counter ready to purchase, waiting; while the clerk chatted nearby with the other individual, not helping them, just chatting - discussing a black binder. Finally I said "I'm ready when you are". The clerk turned, delivered a deadpan "oh", came over and rang up purchases without a smile or greeting or asking me if I found what I was looking for. When done, I asked if they still had gold stars: the clerk's response was "yes" (full period, nothing else). I said "then I'd like some", after which the gold stars were given to me. The clerk wished me a good evening when I left, mechanically. An ATM would be have been more customer oriented than that clerk. I truly hope you, Casey's Hallmark, don't turn into a place I don't want to visit.

Casey and his staff are exceptional. They all go out of their way to create a warm atmosphere in the store; I love shopping there. All the staff are very knowledgeable about the merchandise. I always recommend the store to my friends.
