Jefferson Elementary School is an early childhood school providing a preschool program for handicapped children. It offers a variety of educational programs to more students in prekindergarten through grade four. The school provides academic programs in English, mathematics, social studies and science. Its parent-teacher organization provide funds for cultural arts presentations, help with field trips and assist teachers in acquiring additional instructional materials. In addition, the school provides cafeteria with a variety of food menus. Its library provides various resources and materials for overall development of students. It also has a counseling and guidance department for students, parents and teachers. It has specialists in the areas of art, science, music and physical education, a guidance counselor, student assistance coordinator and a school nurse.
