Village Cakery did our wedding cake. The cake looked beautiful and tasted great but the order was wrong. The middle tier of the cake was supposed to be vanilla with raspberry filling and the top tier was supposed to be chocolate with Bavarian cream. When we cut into the cake, the raspberry and Bavarian cream had both been left out. We were very disappointed because my husband and I as well as our guests were looking forward to trying that flavor. When we took the pedestals back and told her about the problem she did not offer to return the money for the flavors we had paid for but didn't get. Instead she gave me a box of iced cake shavings and squirted the raspberry filling on top. Bottom line, although the cake was good it was not what we ordered and paid for and its not like you can have a do-over. I would not recommend this bakery. They have too many orders and no help and I would hate for another bride's cake to have that big of a mess up.
