My name is Dale Carleo and I am your local Chair Caner! ​ I began my caning business 18 years ago and enjoy it as much today as I did when I began. I love the whole process of bringing tired chairs back to life so they once again can be used and enjoyed. Most of all, I love my customers. It takes a special type of person that wants to restore an old piece of furniture. Every piece of furniture has a little history, and above all, a story. Maybe it's a chair from your childhood; or simply something that you found at an estate or garage sale that caught your eye. There is certainly "A Land of Misfit Chairs" out there hiding in the dark corners of our garages and attics. The woven seats and backs may be gouged, ripped and torn; but with a little love and work they can be restored and enjoyed once again for years to come.
