We've got a new kid in town. Not Batteries Plus. They've been providing hard-to-find batteries to the public for years. The new kid in town is the owner of Batteries Plus in Vista on Hacienda Drive. His name is Peter and he informed me that he took ownership only 14 months ago. Most store owners and managers are caught up in the rules and regulations and bottomlines of the business, even at the expense of angering a present and/or could-be future customer, but Peter isn't one of them. Peter helped me tremendously with lawnmower batteries that were hard to find for me and very expensive. I was very honest with him on my predicament regarding the mower. He listened to me, showed amazing compassion (even though I know I must have been becoming very annoying to try to assist) and most importantly did what he felt was best for me and not necessarily for his business, as far as he knew.
