We have had Dr. Miller at Charles County Veterinary Hospital care for 3 dogs and 3 cats over a 25 year period. He and his staff are more than accommodating and personable. Their care for our pets have resulted in life spans of 18+ years. He treats animals just as you would want them treated. If you have any concern for any of your animals, Dr. Miller is the vet to see. This is not just a job for him. It is a practice that he truly enjoys.

I love Dr. Miller and his staff so much! They're so sweet and obviously adore every pet that walks through the door. This place is amazing. They're clean, thorough, and proud of their outstanding facility. On my first visit, Dr. Miller actually gave me a tour through his whole facility, and everything was sparkling clean. I was happy to see a modern statim, ultrasound, x-Ray, and many other devices that are rare for most animal clinics. Know that if you take your pets here, they are going to be very well taken care of.

We have been taking our pets to Dr. Miller since 1985. He has always been very caring and compassionate with each and every one of our "babies". Our Genny gets excited and can't wait to get in the car when we tell her we are taking her to see Dr. Miller. When she doesn't feel well we tell her that Dr. Miller will make her feel better. And he does :- ) From the first pet we took to see him to the ones we have now he is still the same kind man who gives our pets the best treatment. When we lost our older dogs who he had taken care of since they were puppies, Dr. Miller and his staff were genuinely sympathetic and sad. We needed a Ragdoll-friendly vet and I was beyond impressed with Dr. Miller's knowledge on the breed! He will show you the entire hospital on your first visit and show you their equipment. Everyone is very friendly and outgoing. First time meeting such a personable doctor. You feel like family.

I've been bringing my pets to Dr. Miller for almost 10 years. I don't trust anyone else with them. From the first visit when Dr. Miller did not know me yet gave me his personal phone number in case we had issues over night, to yesterday when I brought my newest member of the family to see them for her yearly shots, he and the staff have always been friendly and professional. We drive past at least 6 other vet offices to get to Waldorf and it is well worth it. Words can not express how much I appreciate knowing Dr. Miller is there for us when we need him.

charles county vet clinic has successfully cared for my dogs since 1997. What attracted me to utilize their services is their state of the art equipment and knowledgable compassionate Dr. Jeffrey Miller. The staff likes pets and doesn't view them as burdens. How can you not like a vet with Bubba the loud mouth parrot who greets you when arriving. They even open Saturdays and have special efforts to meet after hours on more than one occasion. Cats dogs .... Once I saw a hedgehog in the waiting room ....one stop shopping baby! Prices are reasonable but the service and professional direction is first class. Must be why they've been there about 30 years. Doctor Jeff Miller graduated Cornell so I accept his affinity for the NY Yankees.... His office is draped with Yankee pix and souvenirs..... I'll stick with my home team favorites and don't hold it against him! You may not go for his baseball team but for a first place winner vet.... Chose Doc Miller and his winning staff, I do.

in response to the person that had nothing nice to say about doc miller to me it sounds more like a disgruntled ex employee i can honestly say i have known doc miller well enough and long enough thati can say the accusations are false his diagnostic technology is up to date after being in business 30yrs he knows what he is doing every time i see him is a learning experience so to anybody that wants to bash doc miller is a lie and i know from personal experience all is all false...

this place is not a place i will ever take my pets back to. the doctor has no clue what he is doing and uses old school diagnosis. the prices are too high and everytime you go he wants bloodwork, its all about the money and not the pets.

I just wanted to let you all know what a fabulous place this clinic is! I took my dear boxer in just recently and she was so comfortable! Dr. Miller took his time and got to know her and answered all our questions! Riley ended up having surgery! She came home today and is wonderful! She is eating and drinking and not groggy or drunk on anathesia at all! She even wanted to play! we have had many times when she came home and just fussed. Also the blood work was done right on the premisses and made is so much easier and faster! Dr. Miller and the entire staff have been so comforting! This is as great place to take your pet!

The staff is very friendly and no high pressure sales like several other local practices.

I went to Charles County Veterinary Hospital for the first time on 4/11/2013, and I was impressed! It was difficult to find an avian vet on short notice, but CCVH gave me an appointment as soon as I could get there. Dr. Miller checked my bird over after a night fright. However, he diagnosed a much more serious issue, crop impaction. Right away, he emptied my bird's crop, administered two shots of antibiotics, and gave me more antibiotic drops to administer at home. When I came to CCVH, my cockatiel could barely steady himself on the ground, much less a perch. Now, he's singing and climbing around again! Dr. Miller even gave me a tour of the back--great space, clean, and well-maintained. He showed me the operating room, digital x-ray, and a grooming station as well, all top-notch. You cannot beat the personable service, quick and accurate diagnosis, or prices! (All that for only about $100!)

Dr. Miller and his staff have taken care of our pets with compassion and love - their love of animals is evident in the way that they care for our pets, and in the way that they deal with us. Dr. Miller is clearly nuts about dogs, he makes our dogs very comfortable with him, giving them treats and touching them not only to treat them, but to pet and comfort them, they know that they can trust him and relax with him. Dr. Miller really sets the standard for how you want your pets doctor to treat them. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for regular veterinary care.

This is the best clinic I have ever been to. I took my two big dogs for their yearly checkup and shots. The very first thing the veterinarian did was get down to their level and pet them. He spent a good five minutes greeting them and feeding them treats so that they would have a positive experience with him. He was very gentle with their shots and tests. He even took me on a tour of the clinic. The place smelled so clean, I didn't smell any animals at all! Their equipment is fairly high tech and they are the only clinic in the area to have some of them. They have normal crates as well as the running kind which allows dogs room to stretch and walk around a bit without having to feel so cooped up. Any vet is is eager to give a "behind the scenes" tour proves to me that they are confident in their practice and that they have nothing to hide. I feel completely safe letting him care for my pets.

Our family has been going to Dr. Miller since 1991 since I was 10. So over the last 20 years he has cared for 3 cats and 7 dogs in our family. My dads doberman almost died due to a back injury and Dr. Miller helped save her life. My dog Roxy has severe allergies and he worked tirelessly with me to figure out the source. She is on weekly allergy shots and is stable. He is a no non-sense Doctor who will give it to you straight. He tells you the problem, he tells you your options and makes everything so easy for you. He calls you himself with lab results and it really shows how much he cares. I will never take my animals to any other doctor. It is always to get an appointment and the office staff is so nice and friendly. I wish I had more room to write a 10 page review about how much I appreciate Dr. Miller and his staff for keeping my furbabies healthy and happy.

Dr Miller and his staff care for our pets, and have done so for almost 20 years. We take all of our dogs to him, and he cares for them as if they were his own. In addition, he cares about the owners and how they are doing when pets are ill or nearing "that time". Compassionate, caring, and so very knowledgeable, the care and advice of Dr Miller is trustworthy. He takes the pets health, quality of life, and the owner's well-being into every decision - he is a vet due to his love for pets. Costs are economical as well. Dr Miller and the CCVH is the best place for pet care.

I love Dr. Miller's office where we always get personalized treatment. You can really tell he genuinely loves all the animals that come into the office. It's very heartwarming to see my puppy lick the faces of the Dr and his staff. This will be my permanent vet.

Dr. Miller is a wonderful, kind veterinarian. He and his staff make you feel very welcome, and they all treat your pet with loving care. He takes the time to listen to you, to explain what he is doing, and answers all your questions before he is through. The staff anticipates my needs by making extra copies of shot records for the boarding kennel, or copies of treatment records for insurance purposes. Everyone makes you and your pet feel like family; even following up with you if pets receive treatment for illnesses. I have been going to Dr Miller for the past 5 years, and I wouldn't go anywhere else!
