      Established in 1982, The Corliss Institute offers a range of services to the deaf community. It provides support and training to deaf individuals with various disabilities. The institute offers a variety of social and rehabilitative solutions. The Corliss Institute administers day and residential programs, as well as provides individual living services. It conducts classes in computer applications, writing, math and reading. The institute also offers assistance with shopping, housekeeping, laundry and food preparation. The Corliss Institute organizes a range of recreational events for deaf individuals. Additionally, the institute offers a variety of employment opportunities for people with hearing disabilities.
