General Info

Sarah spent six years as a tax attorney and lobbyist on Capitol Hill. After meeting and marrying the love of her life, Ben Sands, both husband and wife decided to leave the corporate world and prioritize improving the quality of lives of others. Ben founded a company called Regret Free Life and Sarah started Dance Trance DC. Sarah discovered Dance Trance while in law school, and what it did for her she wanted to share with others. Sarah and her accomplished team of instructors create a club-like environment in the gym loud music, top 40 dance hits, and DJ lights. Dance Trance has become a community of men and women supporting one another, both on and off the dance floor.

Dance Trance Fitness has taken Washington, D.C. by storm since its opening two years ago captivating over 5,000 young professional men and women with its fun nightclub-like dance moves, community atmosphere and innovative fitness program. Dance Trance is a dance fitness program where members dance choreographed routines to club-like beats. Beginners learn new routines and steps in one of our Breakdown classes, and Intermediate to Advanced students sweat it out in our ten High-Cardio classes.
