I had a stroke and could not walk. Because of the inability to walk my legs became very swollen. Also, my right hand was partially unable to be used. I saw Victoria Goldsten at the Washington Institute of Natural Medicine for lymphatic drainage massage, for my swelling and to do range of motion for my right hand. My swelling improved and was able use my right hand more effectively. Victoria's therapy was very helpful.
Previous to my stroke I had a problem with fibroids. My doctor told me I had to have a hysterectomy. I called Victoria and asked her if she could help. She said she could. She saw me for a natural health care exam and recommended homeopathic remedies. The remedies shrunk my fibroids and never had to have the hysterectomy.
Victoria is a nurse/massage therapist that is certified as a complementary and alternative medicine nurse and also has an advanced degree in homeopathy. I highly recommend Victoria at the Washington Institute.
I came to see Victoria at the Washington Institute because I was having sinus pain and swelling of my face. She recommended homeopathics for swelling and lymphatic drainage massage. Just after one session of the lymph drainage I felt much better. The hoempathics were also a great benefit. I highly recommend Victoria. She is very kind and caring.

Provided by YP.comEven though I am a geek and don't believe much unless I can see or touch it, I have to say the Washington Institute has made me a strong believer in the natural methods that they offer. Most recently, I have had neuro therapy on my back and find very little pain in doing the things I have always been doing. With that, I take an herb for arthritis in my fingers. This herb keeps the pain in my fingers away much longer than the pills prescribed to me by my arthritis doctor.

Provided by YP.comI was unable to get pregnant for two years and my medical doctors were unable to help. I then went in for an exam with Dr. Victoria Goldsten, ND at the Washington Institute of Natural Medicine. She evaluated me based upon natural theories and treated me with homeopathic remedies. Within two months I was pregnant. I now have a bouncing baby boy. If you are trying to get pregnant and can't you should try the natural approach. It worked for me.Dr. Goldsten has had over 30 years of experience in health care. I felt very comfortable with her and her staff. I live in Maryland and it was not a problem getting to her office. It took me just 15 minutes from Bethesda.

Provided by YP.comthe Best Colon Hydrotherapy Facility
It has been a pleasure to receive such a treatment as a colonic in a professional environment. Every colonic that I have received until now was performed in the basement of someone’s home. I am glad that there is now a professional upscale facility designed to complement this holistic modality. It has made my experience more satisfying than could have ever imagined.

Provided by YP.comI have had several raindrop treatments and several acupressure sessions with Linda Khanzetian as well as a holistic consultation. The raindrop treatment was very relaxing. The smells of the essential oils was nice and the hot towels were excellent! She was able to help me with some pain I was having using a combination of Young Living essential oils, acupressure, and homeopathic remedies. I would recommend her to everyone."
