We fished on the Mijoy 747 the afternoon trip Wednesday 8/4/10 for blues and bass. We had a fantastic time. There was nine of us and we caught thirty fish (blues) all together. The boat was cleaner than any party boat we had ever been on. The mates, especially Sully, were courteous, friendly, and very helpful - always ready to gaff a fish, straighten out a tangle, or give tips on the proper techniques. In between stops the deck was hosed down - my wife was amazed! My friend remarked " I've never been on any party boat trip like this - lots of fish and a very clean boat". The captain worked hard finding the fish, moving many times to keep the action going. All and all it was the best party boat trip we had ever been on and we will definitely go out again. Today was my first day deep water fishing, and I cannot imagine a better boat to have done it on! We were out in the water for a very long time, in great fishing areas with very large fish (plenty of bluefish). The crew was small but EXTREMELY helpful and knew what they were doing. The price was reasonable beyond doubt, and the equipment was good enough to support hours of fishing. Overall it was an amazing experience, even for someone like me who has never done fishing and doesn't even enjoy seafood. I would recommend the Mijoy 747 to ANYONE.
