The building has been there since the late 1800's and while there has been additions the beauty and attention to detail has remained. This church is welcoming, friendly to all and offers programs for children, teens, adults. Mission work is strong and alive here as well as the music programs. People tend to join and stay here all of their lives. Recently a new pastor was installed Rev. Tyler Pettigrew, his heart for learning and growing through God's words as well as challenging the congregation to be about the work of our Lord, has sparked new life and energy in this church. let me start off by saying this church is beautiful. and it is so beautiful this is where we decided we wanted to get married next year. We were fine with paying the 800 dollars for the church for the day but when they refused to turn on the ac for us for the day it was a deal breaker. In Ohio where it can be 90+ with 100% humidity you refuse to turn on the ac for a wedding because it cost to much. Well the sad truth here is the cost to run an ac is no where near as expensive as they want you to believe. In Ohio is averages out to about 11 dollars a day.
