I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The process is a nightmare and is broken: from scheduling an appointment to parking to waiting to see a doctor. They actually use a call center in North Carolina that does not properly relay messages to the office, and the communication breaks down even further once you're there.

After a nightmare scheduling, we finally arrived at West Med to find a very long line for the valet parking at the Yonkers facility. Once in the doctors office, we checked in at the main desk, and learned that our appointment was cancelled. They sent us to another reception desk, and we are told they will reinstate our appointment, and then we were told to go back to the main check-in desk to complete the necessary paperwork. After submitting the paperwork, we were told our appointment was not until 11:45, an hour after our original appointment, and they sent us back to the woman at the second reception desk. We checked-in there, again, and let her know that they scheduled us for an hour later than our original appointment (because protocol says that is what they need to do). She told us they would take us at our originally scheduled time. So, we sat and waited.

We checked in a few more times, until finally they told us we were waiting on the wrong side (nobody told us where to wait). We asked the receptionist two more times, and each time she called the nurse and told us "about 5 more minutes." This is our first experience at the facility and my daughter's first time with this specialist. After waiting an hour and 15 minutes, we told them that we were leaving. They said "oh, it will just be 5 more minutes." In the meantime, people were being marched in to the doctor who had scheduled appointments after ours. We finally decided to leave, and asked to just talk to the doctor to let her know the kind of customer service that West Med has and that, unfortunately, she just lost a patient who never even had the opportunity to experience her care.

I will never again step foot in any of West Med's offices and I would highly advise you not to either. They are in it for the profitability and really don't care about the patients.
