It designs and produces precision hydraulic and fuel system components for civil and military fixed-wind aircraft, helicopters, spacecraft, turbine engines and special applications. The privately owned small business is equipped for modern design and manufacturing, with specializations in CAD, CAM, DNC, CNC, OMM and MRP styles of design. Its product line includes hydraulic subsystems, hydraulic swivel joints, actuators, fuel control valves, reservoirs, hydraulic valve modules and hand pumps. The company primarily employs motion control, flow control and hydraulic fluid management technologies. Arkwin is also ISO 9001 certified. Started in 1951, Arkwin Industries maintains offices in Westbury, N.Y.
