From the outside the store looks like a quaint Connecticut antique store however inside its quite a different story. This place is jaw-dropping! I felt like I walked into the Louvre in Paris with all the bronze and marble statues. The chandeliers were everywhere and his antique silver collection which spanned an entire roomUnbelievable! These are the sort of pieces one would see at a Christies auction. The owner Bernard introduced himself. A friendly easy going guy from France and one of the coolest antique dealers Ive ever met. Atop from being a restaurateur, world traveler and culture buff he too was a walking encyclopedia on antiques. I wasnt looking for anything in particular, just browsing.. and in the process I stumbled upon a matched set of early 60s black leather Knoll office chairs. Awesome!
