      With a name that boldly embodies a commitment to travel, Be Traveled approaches travel with a progressive outlook. Chelsey Washington, Owner and Director of Be Traveled, has lived and breathed travel for as long as she can remember and wants everyone to Be Traveled! Chelsey knew early on a career in travel was her destiny. Summer road trips with her family throughout the Midwest are permanent fixtures in her travel logs, followed by a memorable trip to Disney in her early teens.A couple college visits to explore a tourism degree, followed by several travel-related internships sketched the path for Chelsey. After a 10-year detour entrenched in sales, administration, direct marketing, education and public relations, Chelsey knew she needed to return home to her biggest passion, travel. And her experiences have given her the knowledge and background to change the way busy professionals, groups and families handle their travel related needs. Chelsey graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Master of Business Administration, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations from the University of Northern Iowa and an Associate of Arts in Tourism Management from Iowa Lakes Community College. Chelsey has explored over 20 countries, including living in France and the United Kingdom.
