I think the reviewer in June 2011 hasn't been there very many times, and is likely "easily offended' by a lot of things. I've been seeing Dr. Gordon almost since he first went into business, easily 35 almost 40 years ago. My husband has been seeing him about 30 years. I've also used doctors with all the high tech machines and had horrible prescriptions because those doctors didn't listen to my needs as I explained about the way I use my eyes (being deaf). They just pushed their own agenda (especially the ones who can attend to the medical needs of eyes like doing surgery). Dr. Gordon doesn't do surgeries so he can focus on using lenses to deal with the basic types of vision problems.

This place is mediocre at best. When you first walk in, the young female receptionist will almost always give you a snarly look. Even, when you try to be friendly...it will not be reciprocated. You go to wait, and they do have updated magazines. That's a plus! The vision screening process is done on old-timey machines. Dr. Gordon attempts to be personable but easily offended me with a judgmental remark about others. I am sure there is somewhere better you could find in Wichita.

I have been with this doctor for over 10 years. He is excellent! Being a diabetic, I could not ask for better care. He has my trust and my confidence. I would recommend him highly to anyone, young or old.
