Called 3 weeks ahead of time for an estimate and to set up services when I would be in town. He advised that he was busy and that I shouldn't panic if I didn't hear from him right away.



Two weeks later, I hadn't heard from him. Called and emailed and he explained that he was getting his taxes done and was very busy, but would get out there to do the estimate the next day.



Got a voicemail the next day. He couldn't go out to do the estimate because you all had a lot of rain and it was supposed to rain all day. Didn't hear anything, so I reached out again - 3 days prior to traveling to Raleigh. The next day, he emails (Didn't even have the stones to call me.) and tells me that his mother broke her hip and that he's not going to do the job.



It was his third excuse and I figured he was just lying. And this was a big job! I was prepared to pay thousands, and he knew it.



So, before you pick this one, imagine how you will be treated if you only have a few hundred to spend.
